Leigh’s Cove is a gated condo community located off of Lee Drive on Etta Street, across the street from Mike Anderson’s Seafood restaurant and next door to Caliente Mexican restaurant. Both restaurants are in walking distance from Leigh's Cove. Conveniently located about 1.5 miles from Louisiana State University's campus and a short walk to bus route Tigerland A Trail. A pool area is also available to residents.
Leigh's Cove Condominiums were built by Milton J. Womack, Inc. The complex was built in three phases which began in 2000 and was completed in 2004. The Board of directors managed Leigh's Cove alone at the beginning but then hired a management company to help take care of the maintenance and bill payment process. Currently Leigh's Cove Board members are partnered with Lewis Companies to help manage the condos.
All condos have living room, fireplace, dining area, full kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, walk-in closets, built in security system, interior utility storage closet, patio or balcony, outside storage closet, washer and dryer. Up-stair units have a loft which can be used as a third bedroom with two large closets and vaulted ceilings in the living room area.
Condo HOA dues pay for water and sewer, garbage collection, Flood and Hazard insurance (not Renter’s insurance), professional management (currently Lewis Companies), landscaping/grounds keeping, pool maintenance, gate maintenance, and a reserve for long term capital maintenance to minimize assessments.
Leigh's Cove board of directors consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer, and four Directors. This group of volunteers help make sure the bylaws and restrictions are followed. They focus on keeping Leigh's Cove condominiums a safe place to live and property value up.
